ANKENY, Iowa (Nov. 17, 2009) - The Ankeny Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating seventeen-year-old Taija Carter. Taija was reported missing on Wednesday November 11th, 2009. Taija is described as a white female, 5’5” in height, 135 pounds, with blue eyes, and light brown hair. Taija was last seen wearing blue jeans, flip-flop sandals, and a peach colored Columbia Brand fleece jacket.
Taija may be in or around the following vehicle: Green 2001 Ford Explorer Sport two door, with Iowa License plate 074WQY.
Ankeny police ask that anyone with information about Taija’s whereabouts contact the Ankeny Police Department at 515. 289.5247.
