Tiny Tot Soccer teaches sportsmanship and socialization

ANKENY, Iowa (Aug. 16, 2012) - Ankeny Parks & Recreation offers Tiny Tot Indoor Soccer, a basic soccer program designed specifically for boys and girls ages four through kindergarten. The program teaches socialization and good sportsmanship all while having fun.
This six week program is held on Saturdays from September 15 through October 20. The first fifteen minutes will be used to teach skills and the last 45 minutes will be spent playing a game. Children will be placed on teams with volunteer coaches.
Cost for the program is $25 for a resident and $30 for a non-resident. Each child will receive a team t-shirt with their paid registration. Times will be determined by the number of participants, however parents can anticipate a time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required and can be done online, by mail or in person the Parks & Recreation Office, located at 210 S. Ankeny Blvd. The registration deadline is August 26.
