Fall adult volleyball leagues forming now

ANKENY, Iowa (Aug. 16, 2012) - Adult volleyball is one of the most popular team sports in Ankeny. Fall leagues are forming now, with games starting in early September. Separate divisions are set up for men's, women's and coed teams.

*Days will depend on the number of registered teams
Teams must have a minimum of 6 players each; coed teams cannot have more men than women. The team registration fee is $175 and $10 for each person on the team that is not an Ankeny resident. All fees are due at the time of registration. Registration forms can be picked up at the Parks & Recreation office at 210 South Ankeny Blvd.
Registration deadline is August 22. Teams can register in person or by sending the registration and fee via mail.
