Kirkendall Public Library has more than 28 public access computer workstations. The computers are updated routinely and replaced every three to four years. Each workstation is available for use in one hour time slots using an automated signup system on a first come first served basis. Additional hours are available depending on the current waiting list of users.
The workstations have:
- Windows operating systems
- Unfiltered high speed Internet access
- Microsoft Office Suite applications
- 17 inch CRT or LCD monitors
- Writable CD-RW drives
- USB and floppy drives
- Headphone jacks for audio
- Color and B&W printing (fee per image)
Additional technology services available include:
- Document scanning (large quantity jobs not accepted)
- Color and B&W copying (fee per image)
- Faxing (fee per call)
