The City of Ankeny hiring process for Police Officer is a two step process. The first step is Civil Service Commission certification. This step is accomplished through several tests and evaluation measures, which are described below. You must be certified by the Commission in order to advance to the second step of the hiring process, which is the Police Department evaluation/selection process. It is also briefly described below.
