Course Level Descriptions
Online registration begins April 26, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. Walk-in registration also begins April 26 at Ankeny Parks and Recreation located at 210 South Ankeny Boulevard. We no longer hold mass registration for swimming lessons; online registration will be offered in its place. Registrations will not be accepted by mail or by phone, only in person or online.
Class Availability
Space availability limits each child to signing up for one class only. Persons registering a child for more than one class prior to June 18 will be subject to a $5.00 transaction fee and the child being removed from swim lessons. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. You may sign up for additional classes beginning June 18 if there are openings. If you sign up for a second class and your child does not pass in the first class, we cannot guarantee placement in an appropriate class.
Date Transfer
A $5 transfer fee will be charged for each transfer from one swim section to another after the initial registration. Please check your swim lesson time with other summer activities before registering.
Waiting Lists
If a class is filled you will automatically be notified and placed on a waiting list. When registering use the grade entering for the 2010/11 school year unless otherwise noted. Please make note of the class dates and times. Confirmation will not be sent.
