Adopt A Flowerbed

Thank you for your interest in adopting an Ankeny flowerbed. All flowerbeds have been adopted for the 2012 season. Please check back with us again next year.

Help Make Ankeny Look Beautiful! 
This is a great volunteer opportunity to help beautify our community with minimal time commitment. Consider adopting a flowerbed; it's fun, rewarding and a great way to help enhance our city.

Volunteers will:

• plant the flowers
• keep flowerbeds weed free 

Volunteers receive:

• name on small sign in flowerbed
• satisfaction from volunteering

Several existing and proposed flowerbed areas need to be adopted by volunteers. Ankeny Parks and Recreation will prepare the flowerbeds, provide plant and bed materials and water the flowers. Donations are also needed to help purchase the flowers and materials; consider sending a tax-deductible donation to: Adopt-a-Flowerbed, Ankeny Parks and Recreation, 210 S. Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, IA 50023.
