Welcome to a special place - a place built on a partnership between citizens, business and government. Home to more than 40,000 residents and a thriving business community, Ankeny boasts family-friendly neighborhoods, well-groomed park spaces and a quality of life like no other. Whether you visit us at City Hall or here on the World Wide Web, you will find Ankeny a city like no other; a city that is bringing it all together.

We like to think of our website as a virtual City Hall, offering immediate access to the departments, programs, information and services you need and more. Registering for one of our many recreation program offerings, catching up on the latest Ankeny news, locating a book at the Kirkendall Public Library or discovering when your favorite band will be performing at the Ankeny ‘Shell are just a few clicks away. Ankenyiowa.gov places the City at your fingertips, making it easy for you to enjoy all Ankeny has to offer.

Thank you for visiting www.ankenyiowa.gov. If you live outside of the area, we hope you will be able to visit our wonderful City in person sometime soon.

Sincerely,
