I work with various city departments to meet the requirements of the city of Ankeny’s stormwater permit issued by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.  I review plans for and inspect construction sites for compliance with the city’s erosion and sediment control ordinance and oversee the erosion and sediment control on capital improvement projects.  I also respond to residents’ questions/concerns regarding possible stormwater pollution from erosion and/or illicit discharge.
