John Deere presents check for $240,000 toward Miracle Field project

ANKENY, Iowa (June 5, 2012) - John Deere Des Moines Works presented a check to the Miracle Field Steering Committee for $240,000 on Thursday, May 31. The donation was made possible by the company’s local donations committee, which is comprised of several local employees who make decisions on where best to coordinate monetary donations, gifts in kind, and local sponsorships that improve the quality of life in Ankeny. The Des Moines Works Donations Committee focus is solely on the Ankeny community and support causes that are important to the business and its employees.
